Ztrains Introduces A Line Of Scenic Accessories
In the Summer of 2005 Micro-Trains introduced their new Z scale sectional track, Micro-Track. Micro-Track combines a molded, ballasted roadbed together with a North American style tie and rail structure. After only a few months on the market the reception this track has received from the Z scale enthusiast, both novice as well as the more experienced user, has been overwhelmingly positive. You can read our review of Micro-Track here. Micro-Track sectional track now makes it possible to have a running layout in a matter of minutes in almost any space.
Ztrains is now designing a series of highly detailed, fully hand-finished Z scale scenic accessories, Ztrains Details. Our first release, the Curved Wood Grade Crossing, is designed to work in tandem with Micro-Trains 195mm curved sectional track. This wood grade crossing is a pressure cast 3 piece resin set that features separately applied cross bucks, guard rail stringers and ground cover. We now use Silflor grasses on our grade crossings.
Ztrains Details accessories can be readily used in both permanent as well as in temporary table top layouts, and are available by contacting us directly here at Ztrains. While our initial release is designed to complement Micro-Track, future releases will be track-independent.
